Indian Pacific East - West - 21 Day Tour

Len Beadell has been called 'the last of the true Australian explorers'. In 1947 Len started surveying for the Woomera Rocket Range and continued associated work surveying centre lines and constructing roads until 1963.

Armed with basic equipment, Len and his construction team built almost 7000 kilometres of roads through the Australian outback. We travel on several of these tracks on these two tours which capture the beauty and isolation of Central Australia where our deserts offer a special peace to the traveller.

The INDIAN PACIFIC is the ultimate adventure trek across the Australian continent, from the most easterly to most westerly points.

We cross the Great Victoria Desert on the Anne Beadell Highway where many native eucalypts are in blossom at this time of the year, and travel through mining areas and station properties in Western Australia before arriving at the rugged west coast and the calm waters of Shark Bay with its friendly dolphins.
